Kleopatra was very helpful! Although I arrived late and at very short notice, the flat was ready, clean and tidy. Spectcular view of the Corfu city, the airport, the Kanoni area, both Castles and the lagoon! The location is excellent for those who are interested to be close to a couple of beaches and also close to city. There are two bus routes that can be used. One is very helpful as it can take you not only to the city centre but also to a number of other beaches and Benitses village in south (toute No 6). One bus route (No. 2) is frequent, every 20-25 minutes from Kanoni area to city centre and the other (No. 6) is less frequent (every hour) but it can take you to a number of beaches. There are also two small mini-markets and petrol station (150meters), breakfast and meals are available at nearby Nisos Restaurant-Cafe-Bar (50meters) and bars and other cafes in the Kanoni area just 300 meters away. The Kanoni area is a very popular area with lots of landmarks on the sport. As far as the flat is concerned it si a very good place for the given price. Satellite TV, a fully airconditioned room and another one available to use if needed, balcony, kitchen with cooker, oven, microwave, toaster and most important: home-made liquer and olive-oil from Kleopatra’s garden! There is also available a washing machine but I haven’t used it. The garden is basically just a plot of land that can give you plenty of space and access to the closeby beaches withour having to cross roads and mind tha cars for your kids, so it is nice.
